The Opportunity Class (OC) Placement Test is a computer-based assessment designed to evaluate the academic potential of students seeking placement in Opportunity Classes. Conducted at designated external test centres, the test comprises three core sections: Reading, Mathematical Reasoning, and Thinking Skills. All questions are in multiple-choice format and must be completed using a computer.

Test Components:

• Reading Test (13 questions, including 2 with multiple parts): This 30-minute section assesses a student’s ability to comprehend and interpret written texts. It accounts for 33.3% of the total score.
• Mathematical Reasoning Test (35 questions): A 40-minute section that evaluates numerical reasoning, problem-solving, and the application of mathematical concepts. It contributes 33.3% to the overall score.
• Thinking Skills Test (30 questions): This 30-minute section measures logical reasoning, critical thinking, and the ability to apply knowledge to unfamiliar scenarios, contributing 33.3% to the final score.

This comprehensive test provides a balanced evaluation of a student’s abilities in critical areas, helping identify those best suited for advanced academic challenges.
